Jeongan Choi is a visual artist based in Cologne, Germany. With a background in painting and installation, her practice centres on drawing as both an idea and a method, extending into writing and self-publishing. She approaches drawing as a verb: a way of drawing something out, and of giving concrete form to the abstract. Her work often begins with small observations from everyday life, early memories and formative experiences. These sources become part of her ongoing process of recording through drawing and writing. Her A4-sized drawing practice, which she has continued since 2019, can be viewed on her website under “Drawing Archive.”
