Jeongan Choi is a visual artist who lives and works in Cologne, Germany. Her practice centres on the idea and application of drawing, extending through paper drawings, self-publishing, and writings. Although she has a background in painting and installation, she is now particularly drawn to the flexibility and sharpness inherent in drawing. In her creative process, she keeps drawing as a verb – the act of drawing something out, of giving concreteness to the abstract – as the very essence of her practice.
