The Room Made of Thought and The Whirlpool Around It (2022)

This work was the conclusion of three and a half years of my previous art study. I realized that what I had been doing was not just to find a methodology for the medium but an exercise to dictate the images in my head more precisely. Also, I could think about the process of thinking itself: why do we think, and how? The process of asking oneself, you'll keep falling somewhere that you don’t even know and you'll think you're lost, but the mines you go through along the way are mines you wouldn't have gone through if there hadn't been a mineshaft to go into. Meaning of getting to know the mines that you didn't even know, that they existed. And the irony of the experience of getting lost in the mine you dug yourself, at the same time.
*The project’s work contents:
Toilet Drawing) the most effective way to have new ideas and thoughts. Sitting on a toilet for a while.
Idea Whirlpool) The process of getting lost in thoughts, getting lost by oneself, walking by the sentences, and looking down the carpet, leading to nowhere.
Round Pushpin) Round pushpin that shows, where you are currently at, but doesn’t necessarilly always represent who you are.
Drawings in The Brain) Drawing series trying to capture the abstract movement of the perceivement as precisely as I can. This works represents the saying I say to myself, `The more you reach, the more you get closer`a lot.
A State of Being Refined, Decent, and Still) One’s desire and the counter-thought to restrict the desire. I always wanted to draw a fine line, which doesn’t sound, but at the same time I could draw something that is already scattered enough to be seen. Alike this, I used to sense two or more different states of mind, constantly changing and existing at once.
