Having witnessed the beginning of smartphones in our world, the concept of Brainrot is truly difficult to accept. Though I don't want to admit it, I created a zine filled with regret from a certain evening when I mindlessly scrolled through my phone all day. Searching for “screen time detox” on my phone, I see myself, we see ourselves, wondering when this all began, where it's heading, and if we can ever go back. The crumpled, translucent paper's wrinkles mirror my own mind.
